Health and Wellness Centre

In fast-paced urban environments, traditional medical or fitness spaces often feel clinical, rigid, and detached from nature. The brief challenged our studio to design a multi-functional health and wellness centre that bridges the gap between physical medicine, mental rejuvenation, and community engagement. The objective was to create an inclusive, restorative sanctuary that moves away from the sterile atmosphere of the past and moves toward a warmer, human-centric environment.

Our Approach
Our strategy for the health and wellness centre is centred on biophilic design principles: the intentional integration of natural light, raw textures, and intuitive spatial programming to lower stress and encourage healing. We mapped the user journey to transition fluidly through varying degrees of privacy and energy.
